Frequently Asked Questions
What are Web Modules?
Web Modules are the latest in Database driven powerful adaptable business control systems, designed to fit your company's needs, allowing you to organise and run your business more effectively & efficiently than ever before.Isn't having all our software written for us really expensive?
Depends who is writing the software. If it is a monopoly situation and you are forced to use the in house developers then yes, likely £100 an hour per programmer. That is if the company that wrote your software will write custom parts for you, which is most unlikely. Going rate for a good web developer is nearer £20 an hour and there are many available. What does all that mean?
A control panel. Once the system is installed you will be able to see & control many aspects of your business from any computer in the world, using any communication device with internet accesses, P.C. mob phone etc. Contact customers & staff, send orders through to your work shop floor, create & update manufacturing designs, send quotes & invoices, you can even see what members of staff are clocked in and what they are working on at that moment, plus any other function else you wish to add to your system.
Why do we need Web Modules?
In the current economic climate any edge in the business world is now more vital than ever. Web Modules will allow you to increase productivity and streamline your business to maximum efficiency. If you are spending all your time filing out paper work & sending mail, or wasting your precious time on the day to day life of running a business, instead of doing the actual work. Then you need a Web Module to help your business become better organised, faster & much easier to run.How long will this take & will it disrupt my business?
The essence of the system is designing the Web Module to your business needs. We will send one of our consultants to spend a day at your business and work with you to help design the Web Module to suit your needs. Once this is done to your satisfaction the instillation can begin. Typically with-in a week the hardware and initial coding will be in place then the fine tuning will start over the next few weeks. The system can be implemented with out any disruption to your business, if any vital machinery or hardware needs to be shut down to start the Web Module control system, then this can be done during any down time or during the night, and would be up & running with-out any serious delay. What kind of support & training do we need?
The Web Module Control panel is simple to understand & easy to use. why? Because you will help design it to suit your business needs. The functions & buttons that control them will be tailor made to work with your business system. Training to use the system will be done as the fine tuning of your Web Module system is done. Three months of design, system and software support will come as a standard part of your initial deal. After that you will need very little support or training as the system has a full help section & if you need to add more functions to you system you can do so. Your Web Module will come with a back-end editing area, where new buttons and functions can be added or taken away.Does it Work!

are saying ...
I'm starting to love this software!
David, Tool Makers
We developed our system from the ground up with Web Modules. Apart from ease of use the time the software saves me has allowed me to concentrate on many other parts of the business development.
